What’s the process of getting Invisalign?

If you decide to move forward with Invisalign treatment, Dr. Ennabi first takes a digital impression of your smile and bite. This impression is then sent off to a lab that maps out all of the necessary “steps” to get your teeth from their current alignment to their target alignment. These “steps” are then turned into a series of customized retainers made of clear, BPA-free plastic. These retainers fit snugly over your smile and exert a small amount of pressure on your teeth that gradually shift your teeth into a better alignment.

You wear your Invisalign retainer for at least 22 hours every day, only taking them out to eat, brush, and floss. Treatment time varies depending on your current and target alignment, but most patients can expect to see their final results in about 12-18 months. During your treatment time, you come into the Quality Dental Care offices every six weeks so that Dr. Ennabi can monitor your progress.
